An artistically aged hardwood floor, that is what the Mitis Antique grade will give you. This grade also offers beautifully undulating long length boards with a touch of rustic character. The Antique grade will bring texture to your decor.
It is available in 16 varieties.
Derived from the marriage between different grades, Character flooring adds a completely unique element to your decor. With warm variations of hue accentuated with rustic features, this grade recalls the floors of yesteryear.
Harmony offers a grade of wood with less variations – an option that’s sure to please. The knots are the only natural aspect preserved in this grade, leaving you the leeway to create beautiful harmony between your floor and your more contemporary decor.

In order to offer you a superior quality product, all our species are given the Janka test to determine the hardness of the wood and assess its resistance to penetration.

Our floors are produced with a brushed or smooth texture.
The brushed texture reveals more contrast and hides the wear marks on your floor. It’s created using a wire brush that opens the grain of the wood. The use of this brush leaves delicate marks on the upper layer of the board to give it a beautiful, natural effect.
Treat yourself to the elegance of wood in its pure state. For smooth flooring, no texture is added to the finished product. This is quite simply natural wood. Smooth textured floor is harmonious, sophisticated and classic.
The undulated texture is inspired by the old wooden floors. It is only available on our Antique grade floors. This is a machining process that creates a wavy effect on the wood as if it had been worked by hand.

La moulure en T de chez MITIS est parfaite pour relier deux surfaces différentes, que ce soit en bois, en céramique ou avec un tapis.
Les réducteurs permettent de débuter un plancher avec un niveau différent. C’est parfait pour les entrées ou les séparations entre deux surfaces !
